It's me or the onle viable ammo is the missile/Atgm ?

No, it APFSDS can easily pen XM1 anywhere. As for the M1/M1 IP Abrams and other faction 10.0 you need to go for body shots. Basically, use ATGM to hit the enemy first as it does the most damage and have the best pen. Then, finish the enemy off with APFSDS.

its facing teir 6 so apfsds should be your go to round, while the atgm has more stated penetration any composite armour you face will have better protection against chemical damage than kinetic so your apfsds will be more reliable as well as hitting the target alot faster rather than giving them a few seconds to fire back and move if they see an atgm coming at long range

I think both are perfectly suitable for killing other vehicles. The one exception would be that the T-55A-AM APFSDS round does not work well against rounded or highly sloped armor (in mixed battles against other Russian vehicles such as IS-7 or other T-55-AMs)

i don't talk about arcade, arcade is for noobs(for me).
Apfsd look good again german, but the problems is abrams, apfds need 2,3 shoot for destroye them, and my atgm can one hit them.

And my apfsd never pen an abrams in front, any of my ammo can pen an abrams in front(exept under the gun weak spot) soo....Mmmm

why are you using a t55am1 against abrams? it cant meet them unless you upteir it in a lineup at which point you should be using t64s or t80s

Most vehicles have trouble penning the front of an Abrams. But you're also fighting a BR 10 vehicle with an 8.7 tank. I recommend taking your helicopter out of your line up, or anything else you have that is taking your 8.7 tank into a 10 game.

so if its 'useless' and you are electing to bring your t55am out first in matches take the higher BR vehicle out of your lineup so you are not facing things your t55am shouldnt

My question was, the best ammo of the t-55am 1, not why i play my premium tank in tiers10.
T-55am1 is low cost repair and can deal with abrams in some situation, i play in my br if the repair cost wasn't so expensive.

and you have your answer for that, we have all said the apfsds .. which you then disagreed with for your own niche reasons, that conversation seems to be over if you dont want to take oour advice

it does against most targets, the abrams you complain about is both uniquly survivable against penetrating hits die to its blowout panels and not something you would usaally face

90% of the game i make again abrams is lost. in less then 4 min.

With t64s you have to use HE and apdsfs shells, use HE to get first shot and if your target survive, just finish him with 1 apdsfs shot.
Those T64 HE shells when they dont 1shot kill, they leave your target pretty much useless, they should be nerfed, those t64 he shells are a joke...
