Now we will no longer have WT statistics at all anymore .
Say goodbye to vehicle discussions that are actually based on evidence and being able to easily dismiss anecdotal evidence from noobs.

Thunderskill wasn't accurate anyway, it only tracked the stats of those who used the site. Hopefully we'll get a proper stat tracking site that tracks everything at some point.

It used the same sample size so vehicles stats were fairly reliable. Only for aircraft you had to keep in mind that air and gf realistic battles are put together in the stats.

Thunderskill has pretty much always been correct when it came to the overall state of the balance of the game.

Thunderskill draws data from publically available API data that are used to track your individual in game statistics (your personal leaderboard stats that you can view on any player in game). Thunderskill translates this data into definable information to compare to others. That's it. The website developer simply decided to stop working on this never ending project and probably want's to do other things with their time.

Any player that plays the game and has done things can be dumped into the Thunderskill database. Your individual stats are already publically available, you just need to look at Gaijin's website/in game War Thunder client to view them.

On the proper subject I think it's somewhat better for the greater good. Hard to keep track of all this new stuff being rolled in.

I see a lot of people just brag about their stats with TS, and while I think that the meter, and the whole page is not too bad to keep track of any improvement, it's not very accurate and representative of how one particular vehicle is doing for the whole community, rather for those who had their names logged on the site. That's why you can see some people use particular stats like WRs to judge how unbalanced something is, when in reality it doesn't even begin to cover the whole thing.

The only real drawback is that I will need to have the game open just to check someone's stats if I have an IGN.

Man, I really want to believe that the game has fell from such immense height 2 years ago. I want to really join in your cult. But you aren't really making me fall for anything since you're not proving jack you said so far, the reliable enough waiting time and queues just contradict what you're saying. And even then, such a drop isn't affecting much of the match frequencies. Also note that r/warthunder has only 65K subs, so I'm not sure if that 500K is real or not.

Please, do enlighten me though with your sources. Does it cost a limb just to know the truth?
