The Friend Invite Feature is Indeed A Scam! False Advertisement!

My friend did it and never got the Gold Eagles promised so just wondering?
Is it just false advertising? Bugged or something?

No he's right, you're supposed to get 70K silver when your friend reaches tier 2, and 500 gold eagles when he reaches tier 3. But neither one were paid even though the invite friend link was used to open the account. It's been a few days.

Oh okay, my bad then. But it's still really scammy nonetheless, baiting people like that and then not paying, hoping they will just accept it.

Then I see the Niccaman (sponsored) video and I'm like OK so is that the same game I'm playing because that looks nothing like my experience.

Two counts of false advertising in one day is about enough for me!

You mean that he got everything for free? Or something else?

The video looks fake.
Noob player, shoots down 30 enemies, none go for him except one i-15 who he out turns in an American plane. Pretty fake.

Oh yeah, I agree. It looks like he got handed a pre-recorded video by Gaijin which he is just commenting on.

If I went straight into the middle of so many enemies like that I'd have 5 guys on my tail in about 3 seconds. And the way they aren't really shooting back at him. Yeah that video is fake.

From skimming through that video he was only playing at very low level in arcade mode, and around 65% of the enemies on the other team (and his, for that matter) were AI targets. You can tell they're AIs because they have basic names like "Robert", "Samuel", "Milton", etc. They're all AIs.

This is the "newbie protection" safeguard to ensure you're not getting dunked on by Level 100s when you just start playing the game.

it's indeed bugged... and for now the referral or invitation system has been switched off.

there have been a few strange occurances recently (players getting rewards they did not actually deserve etc). i guess once Gaijin has figured out the issue(s) and fixed them the rewards will be coming... may still be worth opening a ticket on the support website as there dont seem to have been an official announcement about it yet (and maybe there wont be one either when the problems are solved ?! ^^)

the friends invitation / referral should be working again now...

so i guess (or hope or even expect) that those players that didn't receive their rewards should get them now (automatically). if not, you will have to contact the support i assume.

I contacted support. Months and months ago. They've done nothing to give me the rewards I should have gotten.

They said a fix is coming just wait wait wait.
If you press them on a date they just say oh you can log another ticket if you want.
Which is pretty bizarre thing to tell a person and seems suspicious.
Logged another ticket.
Pressed for a date.
They said log another.
Uhhhhhh yeahhhhh right!

Considering that they have the power to just grant you the SL or GE instantly this all seems really really fishy. And it's been months and the refer friends advertisement is still up.

So I have to conclude false advertisement Gaijin.

Verified in the official forums, nobody who posted this 'bug' as an issue has had it resolved.

Player Invite is false advertisement plain and simple.

Tells you what kind of scumbag developers you're dealing with!
