gajin hacked

anyone else getting this?
Never even played/installed and getting hacked warnings. Is their database compromised like so many others one hear about?

Only got gajin auto-created account when I had some bundle reward for war thunder back in 2017:

why is your first instinct that it was gaijin's servers which were compromised? the answer is no, i doubt any others of us are getting this, its simply your account which has been compromised and as Stinger said, change your password and add 2-step verification right now

done password change. two step cannot,
get some E-mail code to link a phone to your account in mail. Assume that must be used on a phone.. dont have any apps for this on phone. Don't even know which apps would be needed, as said, never used this.

therefore not sure how this party/entity from Luxembourg could have used it either from some iphone if it was never activated on my phone to begin with. etc. which further means that for someone to have gotten logged in, they had to somehow compromise the security of the servers.

mate, once again like many of before you, you are blaming gaijin for your password getting cracked, this is not a server breach, there arnt thousands of us with compromised accounts, just you, your insecure password, and being too lazy to set up 2-step verification. this happens all the time and its noones fault but the users. gaijin cant tell the difference, they dont knnow you dont own an iphone and wernt visisting luxembourg, the person who logged on had your password, the best gaijin can do is send these emails to hopefully warn you in time on the occasions it does happen

Well look, I'm not concerned about this, as said, I'm not using the account nor installed/played the game. I do hope that the hacker who need the account actually adds some cool stuff on it for me for when I bother to play one day.
Kinda regret changing my password now earlier as he now needs to hack it again first.

if you want the really fun news there is actually something of a black market for hacked accounts so its actually possible the guy who logged on payed for your login details... though if you didnt have many good vehicles it wouldnt have been worth much

Gaijin\warthunder is deffently not secure,when accounts with 2 steps are logged into.
that is only posible thrue their servers but ofcourse when you try tell them ,they say it is your foult ..go figure
This thread is most likly to be closed so if you wounder ...a google search and you see how manye peeps that complain and that is only the top of the iceberg.
And search for accounts to buy ...you find a lot so yea your hard earned money is for sale somewhere else.

Have you not heard of bruteforcing? I believe Anton(CEO Gaijin) said that the passwords are not stored on their servers(Source: Somewhere of r/warthunder IIRC)(Not to be exactly trusted but ride with me here). If you still got hacked with 2 step the fault would probably fall on you instead.

1) Ironically this thread would be closed because you necro'd it. The thread was answered and essentially done.
2) Search for what? People ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about their accounts stolen? Did you check if those people have 2 step enabled?

Do those accounts even work to begin with? And even then, I would suspect that most of those stolen accounts are long forgotten ones that did not have 2 step or the guy simply doesn't give a damn.

Everything is vulnerable to be hacked and breached-It does not guarantee that it will not, just that you can use the best security options there is to protect yourself.

You must be either hacked by someone first hand or you're so convinced that accounts are this easy to steal.

E: Also, you don't seem to be an alt but this is your first post. Hmmmmmmm
