Too many cheaters
this games dying a slow death, you are capped at lower BRs due to population issues or wait for a very long time to get a match going

the cheaters seem to be quite at home and seem to not care how blatant they are, since there is no report for cheating option ig its clear its not a serious issue to the Devs

well pubg banned 2.5 million players in January alone thats $30 each, a lot money people wasted cheating,

But for War Thunder if these people cant see cheaters with their 1000s of hours i dont see why i need to respond to them anymore, because with my limited hours 150+ ive seen dozens, because it doesnt take a rocket scientist or 1000s of hours to know the limits of the game you're playing.

again youre just being ignorant just saying that everyones wrong and your right. again if you want to prove these so called dozens of cheaters youve seen then please do so by the use of ingame screenshots of replays and state why they are cheating, because you state things with no statistical proof. if you want information youd go to a boffin, not a child.

That's not really true, though they are rare. Gaijin does banwaves every month, and publish the names: https://warthunder.com/en/news/5302-countermeasures-against-forbidden-modifications-february-en
https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/349898-countermeasures-against-forbidden-modifications/

Though I get where you're coming from; with over 1,200 hours myself I've only ever encountered 1 cheater (that I know of).

Speaking of encountering cheaters, can OP please provide the tell-tale signs of spotting cheaters, since with ~200 hours he seems capable of clearly noticing any cheaters, though I can't. Please Vulc, enlighten us.

lol why would i waste the time educating you lot when you have stated time and time again your hours played give you the ability to determine the players you play against are cheating or not, i'll let you live in your delusion, it does not effect me.

but no matter if you see them or not they are most deffinatly there and wide spread, its an absolute given as the games "free to player" nature attracts them, as their is no monetary punishment for cheating or being banned for it.

And even when their is some monetary punishment like losing 30 bucks the price of a game, it doesnt stop a great number of them in PUBGs, as they have banned 2.5 million in Jan and 1 million+ in December.

This is stupid; you've started a thread making claims, yet provide no evidence to back these claims up, and seem hell bent on not providing the tools to others for verification, instead just loudly judging others in a cynical manner.

still gives no proof, further showing that hes most likely lying.
also you compare two games that have a vastly different sized playerbase, in the last day 18000 people played WT from steam whereas 2700000 played PUBG, so saying 2.5 million out of the 18000 get banned doesnt make sense, WT is also a lot stricter as it does not allow mod use as much as other games do.

Talking out of your ass, Cheaters are being banned so what do i need to prove? can you prove you've only seen one cheater in all your games? ...lets see video and screenshots of you and said cheater in frame together.

otherwise its much more likely you've played agaist cheaters and didnt realize it, to claim otherside is statistically improbable with 1000 hours played

i look forword to you proving me wrong with proving you only played against one cheater.
Yolohamster Feb 11, 2018 @ 10:24am
Cheaters are in every game and no matter how much you hate them their still there. Besides this month gaijin banned 438 cheaters. 438 compared to a playerbase of 18,000 is a damn good low number of cheaters. We all know this game has cheaters but with the number of cheaters banned compared to the playerbase it would make sense that people rarely spot them. The amount of cheaters isn't even 4% of the playerbase compared to other games you've mentioned.

im pretty sure i saw a cheater back in february on the stalingrad, you can look back in my screenshots from then for proof seems i cant look at the replay as its outdated.
just because cheaters are being banned doesnt mean that you see one atleast every day as you evidently exaggerate, if im playing against cheaters and dont realise it means that its not cheating, its an exploit or youre just wanting there to be cheaters to prove your point and deny ours.heres some stuff id like to point out:

-i ask for screenshots and replays of the cheaters you encountered yet deny it and ask for me to show my proof of the one time back in feb..... to do what exaclty? to show that wasnt actually someone cheating therefore disproving your own point?

-ive said before that ive checked time and time again in replays (which is evidently what you do not do) and that pretty much theyve all been disproved, you just get into a rage and claim its some cheater for a quick excuse to your defeat. i know what im looking for in a cheater and you dont which can be firmly stated due to my greater experience with other players in the game.

again, you talk to the boffin not the child.

could you also please quickly tell me what cheating would be? what do you experience? invincibilty? infinite ammo? greater speeds? what is it you encounter?

looking through it now ive also disproved that cheater from feb due to it being an armour modification but thats a server based variable so it couldnt have been... so i can safely say that i have seen 0 cheaters and if any have been in the games with me they have had 0 influence whatsoever.

you havent proven or disproven anything, My point is, you don't know who is a closet cheater and who isnt, you cant unless you are standing over every players shoulder watching them play, and not every cheater is going to be going for the top frag or anything you might think a cheater would be interested in doing, closet cheaters are there to win, but not win by exposing themselves to average players

i'll continue to report players i believe are cheating and you can continue to ignore them because of your innate ability to know whats on their computer/screen, because my way, its simply safer to report then to believe in a false narrative that cheaters are so rare you dont have to worry about fishy players
