You know how stupid that sounds, right? What even prompted you to make this? What, can't take a 152 HE to the barrel?

Oh yeah I forgot that every tank fires 152mm HE shells my bad.
In reality for Gameplay reasons it should take more than one hit, just like tank tracks. Tank tracks, atleast the devs said, that it should take two hits.

All it takes is 1 little dent in your barrel to completely disable it. A single hit is accurate.

All it takes is 1 little dent in your barrel to completely disable it. A single hit is accurate.

Why don't we make other things 2 hits to disable too. For gameplay purposes.

It takes no skill and it just makes 1v1s super boring and harder to play tanks with long repairs on their guns.

Well okay, you're free to rush someone if a part of their gun is damaged to the point of needing repair but it still takes skill (and a bit of luck) to destroy someone's gun barrel because it's not the easiest thing to hit, really. Especially if you're both wiggling and moving around trying to make the other miss a shot.

Well okay, you're free to rush someone if a part of their gun is damaged to the point of needing repair but it still takes skill (and a bit of luck) to destroy someone's gun barrel because it's not the easiest thing to hit, really. I mean it is kinda skillless. I machine gunned a RU-251s barrel with my IS-4 after he shot mine. So it just turned into a who could repair their tank faster.

Being able to disable a barrel via MG fire surely sounds like too much.

I don't mind if a barrel gets disabled by a direct AP hit, but at least it should be able to withstand MG fire or a few shrapnells by a HE explosion

i think it should give a accuracy debuff and when its completely red it should decrease the muzzle velocity by half

I understand large 100mm+ AP and HE shots, but it is kinda ridiculous when tanks with small calibers can just shoot my barrel and make me a moving bunker with a machine gun.
