Can you kill a tank with a 850kg Torpedo?

I am looking for a really troll way of killing tanks in tank rb. And I want to know if a torpedo will pen any armor.

well figuring a 250kg bomb can, im sure a 850kg missle used to kill battleships and uboats will knock out whatever it hits

I am pretty sure you cannot use torpedos to ground strike land vehicles.

Torpedos will not explode upon landfall (They do not arm until they get into the water and start their run.), but if you can catch a tank in the water, or near its edge, you may be able to get someone.

Yep. There have been Eastern Europe custom battles with torps vs. PT-76s. It'll work, just drop it in a river or lake and watch.

Buuuut don't drop torps over land, they won't injure tanks they just explode into confetti.

thunder show had a segment on this exact thing, torpedos will kill a tank if it is in the water or close enough to the edge.
planes that land in water like the BV-238 will not activate the explosion of the torpedo.

as for using it as a bomb? no idea

Others said the same thing, it does nothing because the torpedo only arms in water.
