What are some good plane maneuvers?
How do I get an enemy off me tail?
Any tips or fancy spins I can do to get them off me?
I know some basic stuff, like upsidedown yoyo and stuff like that, I'm no newb
But how do I get advanced players off me?

bear with me, because this might be a bit confusing, but this will get ANY PLAYER off your tail 100% of the time.

step 1 - have someone on your tail. you likely already do if youre reading this.
step 2 - level out. its very imporant you are leveled out.
step 3 - right when they begin shooting at you, do nothing. stay leveled out.
step 4 - you will be shot down. the enemy will be credited with a kill, and then they will INSTANTLY pull off your tail.

yep, its that easy, four steps to get ANY enemy off your tail, guaranteed!

Depends on your plane. If you're in something like a Zero or Spitfire just turn. In most others just keep rolling left to right, and slow down on the throttle, and they'll eventually overshoot and appear right in front of your guns.

Look behind you, and every time they shoot, move out of the way of their bullets.

To get them off of your tail... well, if your plane can, try to roll, if they’re close enough you may be able to get them into a scissor fight.

try spinning, thats a good trick

Spinning does nothing unless you use it to trun speed into drag so they overshoot

Actually do maneuver with them. I require sacrifices for my free ace crew.

instructions not clear enough, ripped the wiring out of my cordless mouse and choked my neighbor's infant daughter to death with it

Knowing every maneuver by name helps, and can make it simple to visualize things, but it isn't everything. While certainly important, more important is knowing which to execute when, and how too transition between them. In a good fight, you want to sort of flow into your moves. It is also heavily dependent on the plane you are using. This has been repeated many times- do what your enemy can't. German and American planes can't turn very well. Japenese planes are not what you'd call speedy, and Russian planes cannot perform at altitudes above 4 kilometers. Defending is definately one of the toughest things to do in War Thunder, especially when your crew level is low and you are pulling high-G maneuvers. A lot of it just comes with tons and tons of experience. This is another tough answer but alternatively if you don't want to deal with defensive flying teh answer may just be to not get youself into a disadvantageous position in the first place.

Sorry for the essay of a reply, I should just write a guide lol

Do not try and climb to a NC 900/800 or whatever it's name is. That thing will rip you into shreds and climbs like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Apollo 12 rocket
