Buying Golden eagles through steam and on another gaijin account
Hypothetically speaking, if I were to use a different gaijin account for War thunder(which has a different steam account), would my credit card be linked to that account and not just my main one? For Example, let's say my friend is away on vacation and he lets me use his War Thunder account. I have my own account WT account, through steam, which is linked to my credit card. Let's say I want to buy some GE's on my friend's account. If I do buy Golden Eagles with my credit card on his account, will the card be saved to his account? Thanks for any answers that can be given.

Well the answer to your question is yes, but only if you save your billing information on your friend's account. If you process the payment as a one time payment and choose not to save the billing information, then you're fine. Steam does not reveal the full card information once it's inputed if there's a concern your friend can lift your billing information if you do a one time payment.

As others have suggested, I would just purchase a steam gift card to give to your friend, that way you don't have to worry about it. Though if your intention is to leave your billing information on your friend's account, then you won't have a problem having your billing information on two different Steam accounts.

if you log into his account using the War Thunder Steam Client, you can then buy the GE from your steam wallet and it will be added to your friends account.
Did you friend's account linked to his steam?

What I am asking though, is will my card be saved onto his account. So, I go on steam, I click Play Warthunder, open warthunder, logout of my account, and sign into his account. Now, one thing that it says before I go into his account is something like" Do you want to save purchases for this account", or something like that. I say no. I haven't tried saying yes because I don't know what it will do. Anyways, yes you are right, my purchases on his account are there still. I just want to make sure that if he goes to buy GE's for himself, that it doesn't revert back to my card.

Easiest way to prevent any issues with card information, is to simply go and buy a reloadable or one time load card that is not tied to your financing directly. Friend or not, trust no one with your financial information, be it digital, or physical.
Pre-paids are the way to go.

Because its weird if they buy from steam wallet, shouldn't be an issue... You can literally just buy your pall a steam cash gift card and message them the code if all else fails and you are worried. Should be an option to not save payment info when buying things on steam but I don't think any one here has really tried to do that so I can't confrim that...

Heck you could even paypall them the money I had freidn do that once for me just paypal transfer 15 bucks to my paypal email address I think it was so I coudl buy months sub for soem game...
