Soviet SPAA's are very hard to aim

The bullet velocity is very slow on any Soviet SPAA in teir 1-3
Its easier to hit with a macine gun on top of american tanks
Compared to american SPAA's soviet are just made for bombers/planes who head on/biplanes

What do the SPAA's even do? I never used em (mostly because I play planes just started russian tanks.)

Skip the first two milktrucks, then the rest (except the ZIS-43) are good, just needing more aim for bigger shells.

As somebody who loves to use SPAA, your best bets are the 72-K GAZ MM, 94-KM ZiS-12, BTR-152A, and ZSU-23-4. The problem is less muzzle velocity, but RoF. Especially with the common 37mm, the RoF makes them quite hard to hit if you are not the best with SPAA.

The only good ones from experience are the 94-KM ZiS-12, BTR-152A, ZSU-37, ZSU-57-2, and ZSU-23-4.

Yep i dont know how those workad at times of war but a single cannon to shot planes instead of 4 high velocity mgs was probably worse(and Slow RoF too)

Is Kv-2 armour rlly so great at its br and 1.3 br's higher???
I dont have any models of IS or any soviet heavy tank above kv-2

Even Britsh SPAA AP 20mm belts do more damage with each hit than Soviet AA belts from 94-KM ZiS-12

As already said, they were not to "shoot down" aircraft per say, though of course they want and try to. Similar to bomber gunners, they were more there to put large rounds into the sky that the enemy pilot would see to try and get him to break off his attack. Look at the Wirblewind, the Germans had considered it outdated, so they put 4 together to with some hopes of a better result, but it was still more volume of fire to deter pilots more then score hits.

Working the larger guns was no easy job either. Often with one man working traverse and one elivation, trying to hit fast moving, low flying aicraft (especially with basic sights) was no easy job. But if you have 37mm rounds flying past your aircraft at low altitude, a smart man would probably break off and try from a different angle/position or just break off.

tip> skip the KV tanks that are slow..go right into iS or t34 85..forget slow KVs ..they are just targets..the fast KV is rather fun..and many Russian tanks back up super fast.
