M36 Jackson: Thoughts?

So I've recently been playing GF more, and I brought out my T29 to grind out the US tree some more when I stumbled upon the M36 GMC. A 90mm gun on an M10 chassis with better turret traverse? Is this a dream? So I got it today, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did not disappoint. The mods are cheap in RP, the gun is kickass even with solid AP, reload is fair, the only issues are the open top and armor, which can be negated by not being hit and avoiding planes.

So what are your experiences in this? Is it a Freedom spreading beast? Or as disappointing as Batman vs Superman?

It's too bad that 5.7 USA is really bad, your only Heavy is just an up gunned Jumbo.

not sure how good it is now but when I was using it I almost always got uptiered to 6.7.

Since the cannon is the only good thing about it and the cannon is pretty weak at 6.7 it wasn't worth using.

If it gets proper BR it's decent.

US 5.7 is kick ass!

The thing should be 5.3 (RB) but the 90mm with the m82 nuke round works wonders on everything. Nearly all tanks are garunteed 1 shot if penned. It also is pretty mobile so you can flank and get side shots all day

I quite like it. The 90mm going up against tigers and panthers works really well i think. Had a rough time before the AP buff and before getting APHE but now that AP is better and i got APHE, its done very well.

Armor sucks but its decently quick and its reload isnt too bad for the gun quality

It also has pretty cheap repair costs (I think, I am not at my PC right now)

Yeah. I laughed when a Tiger pushed me after shooting thinking he was impenetrable. The shell went right through his front plate and ammo racked him, I seriously love this thing.

Yes it's 1,900 in arcade at stock, not sure on RB, but that's pretty damn good considering the gun and BR.

I also recently got the M82 shell, still have yet to try it out, maybe I should wait a few hours and try it out with the new sounds and graphics though.

In AB,it goes very well with M4A3E2 76.It's a great TD,only weakness as you mentioned it's open top turret.

The m82 shot is like shooting a 1000 pound bomb out of your tank

Its weird because the 90mm m3 is on the T25 thats on the same br. With a better armor and fighting capabilities, its weird to see the m36 gmc on 5.7. Probably 5.3. Just stating the weird things

Agreed. Although the m36 has better mobility than the t25
