Difference between A6M5 Ko and A6M5 otsu?

Depends, I find the MGs to be mostly useless anyway, but the Ko is a brilliant aircraft in its own. It's exceptionally cheap too. Used mine to grind out the whole Japanese tree back in 2015. ^^

The premium one also has more 20mm ammunition, about 50 rounds more IIRC. Honestly I'd say get the A6M5 premium. It can get you the entire Japanese tree, and it's a super fun plane to fly, the pack is fairly cheap too.

Prems should have slightly gimped performance imo. (Take notes hitler/commie bolt) but the ko is fantastic fun. Bought it along with the xp-38 ages ago and have been tearing ass since. Totally worth it if you ask me.

Should or do? Honestly my impression is the FM/DM is the same, but there are more than a handful with... lets just say, "generous BR deductions", both planes & tanks.

Back in the day I think my record was somewhere around 450-500,000 XP in a game when they were running X5 multipliers.... it was WAY too easy to use, and although I use it very infrequently now.... there's nothing quite like it. Very forgiving, and very powerful.

Well... I already have the B17 to grind + two tier III prems, and I have unlocked a jet but why not~

Ko is a cheap XP grinder for Nippon's tree doesn't need additional research for modification, its repair cost is cheaper and higher reward than its counterpart. It's still my best aircraft on my card alongside with Nippon's FW.
