Can't get onto the marketplace using steam login.

I have my W.T. steam login linked to email, i used my steam login details to get onto the marketplace via the game, but for some reason even when i get the damn verification code right, i can't get in!

I can read a colourful text image just fine and copy something like "7nqrv3", but multiple times in a row it hates it....

What am i doing wrong? I was told that you can use your steam login once linked to warthunder, to access the marketplace etc.. Is this wrong? I want to trade in my crappy event junk i crafted to get whatever i need... i don't even know what "Unknown Items" i need, or how long it will take to get them. I have only just gotten my first uncommon after hours of this grind, and i don't care to spend days on this.

I was told by multiple people that i could somehow link my steam while in game and use it to get onto it.

Thanks for the correction.

Now i know that when i started off with war thunder and choose steam login instead of making a Gaijin account and eventually invested time and money into my steam login, that was the wrong choice..... So i can't do anything at all to benefit from this event? .... Great... Thansk for telling me when i first logged in, gaijin...

What is the point of linking your email (or whatever, i forget) then?

Don't know if you found your answer yet, but once your email is linked, you need to go on said email and find the password Gaijin sent you. Then go on their website and login with that info. This should complete the link and you should be able to access the marketplace.

This is what I did and it worked for me anyway.

Thanks, but I did sort it actually. Turns out it just was really bugging out and did not want to respond to things. I tried to get on it today, and it just brought me right to the marketplace with no logging in issues.

I did not get a gaijin password email, i used my steam password. I then changed it (coz reasons) once i was on the marketplace.

All is now good with my world, thanks anyway.

Hey, if the problem ever arises again, I have an extremely quick fix. Basically all you have to do is open the market place through steam then click to sign in with a different account once there click sign in through steam and viola! I had the same problem as youl

I fixed the problem and I don't need this at all. If it happens again then I just use steam login.
