Teir 3 American tanks just garbage?

I can't help but feel like I either made a mistake or just don't understand some aspect of the game.

In Teir 3 all my american tanks die immediately to enemy fire, rarely can I stick it out in a fight.

I try angling myself, be sure to research the upgrades. but all I do is make minor net gains after either A being carried to victory or B getting on a few lucky ambush streaks.

The M6A1 is good for the 76mm and can hold it's own with a bit of practice. You also have the Jumbo which shouldn't really be giving any issues.

What tanks specifically? If it's the 76mm Shermans I can get that - they are more like slower M18s than anything else.

Tier 3, the Sherman starts being less effective. It's too tall and the armor isn't as good. The 76mm gun is more than sufficeint, but the overall strengths of the Sherman peter out at this tier. However, you now have access to the Jumbo and probably the best Tank Destroyer in the game, the M18 Hellcat. These guys will be your bread and butter for a bit.

You need to get the best tank in all tiers as you go along It gets easyier as you play more.......

The M18 is the god of the battlefield for T3 but I guess it technically isn't really a "tank", not sure about the Jumbo because I never bothered to try it but yes the M24 and 76mm Shermans do pretty abysmal for where they are at.

I played the M18 when it was much easier to hullbreak and now that they've toned it down I can only imagine the damage I could cause with it.

Who says they are Useless when Uptiered? My Cobra King gets Uptiered all the time. As long as I don't get too close, I'm still almost Invincible from the front.

Yes, I know. Now 6.7 gets uptiered constantly. 6.3 is safe spot. All those .7 br's are not stable. I have the cobra king also. But i much rather have a sherman vc than the cobra king. I used the cobra king to only grind till the T34. For grinding money, I got my t44-122. Im just sick of using the 75mm m3. Its so crap. I know how to use it but wt's rng dont help
