How do I fly the Me 262 A-1/U4

I have just unlocked and purchased this aircraft, and it is my second jet aircraft. The main reason I wanted to get this plane was to that I could use it in Ground RB, but because modifications are researched far faster playing Air RB, I thought i would grind out the neccessary modifications there, and then move on to Ground RB. However, I'm having alot of trouble with this plane. I'll list out my issues with this plane, and questions that I have. Please keep in mind that currently, my aircraft is completely stock, and yes I know that I should unlock the 50mm belts first.

1) I don't know how to climb with this plane. I've tried gaining airspeed first (about 500 km/h IAS), and then pitching up at about a 15 degree angle to the right altitued, however I never seem to be able to reach the enemy bombers (my main target with this plane, as I that's what I heard it was good at killing) in time, as they are at about 5-6k meters in the air by the time im at 3-4k. Is there a different way I should be climbing? Should I be side climbing instead?

2) The few times that I've been able to catch up to a bomber, I always seem to find another jet fighter near them. Even if I get on their six, i'm usually not able to kill them, due to my low fire rate, aswell as me being new to this gun, and recognizing how to fight jets. Should I just run/ignore fighters if possible, and only go for bombers and/or ground targets when I unlock HVAP rounds?

3) What modifications should I unlock first, and in what order? I'm aware that I should get the new 50mm belts first, to help killing things, but after that I'm not sure.

I just killed other fighters and ground units until I researched the belt modification. Also ignore killing bombers unless you're on Norway because you'll never climb to their altitude before they drop their bombs or before the fighters get you.

It's a good grond attacker and strike fighter from what i've heard, I'm going for it once I get the Bf109 K-4

best climbrate is achieved while maintaining 450km/h

you want to unlock the gun upgrades asap, without the 'new 50mm cannon' the gun is extremely inaccurate at range, once you have got the upgrade it becomes relativly easy to snipe bombers from well beyond the effective range of their defenses and using its anti-bomber rounds should only take one or two shots (aim for the wings)

if going after tanks personally i find its armored target belt better, the hvaps arnt really necisary when attacking weak top-armour so the extra damage from the armored targets explosive component is much more useful (against player tanks at least)
