is-6 oh gawd, my favourite tank. used it to grind to the T64B, it is so glorious, it is a tank which needs a lot of skill to use... but people always get mad when they heard i got skills using the is6...

IS-6 is pretty meh. Good mobility, decent armor, some good angles to bounce shots. The gun is crap in terms of pen though, pretty long reload, and the gun depression is nearly nonexistant.

People who claim the IS-6 is OP have either not played against it after its frontal turret armor was nerfed, or can't aim for sh*t and bounce on places they should not have aimed at from the start.

Another downside is that it is tier IV and thus can't effectively research tier VI tanks if you're interested in that.

I probably wouldn't buy it outside of a sale if i were to buy it again.

IS-6 is quite good, gave me quite the run for my money in my Tiger II H, even though the turret armor has been historically nerfed, most things can't reliably pen you if they don't have enough time to aim for your weakspots, but the reload is quite long.

The Obj. 120 is very good in RB for sniping and it gets HEAT-FS as stock round, but can be taken out by .50 cals and light cannons and if someone shoots your turret back you are dead anyway but you can in return lolpen anyone you face and mostly oneshot them (((((mostly))))).

Some of those mods take thier "job" way to seriously. I've had my fair share of issues there too. I find the game forum mods to be much more personable.

Granted if I was the mod assigned to the VAC forum, I'd be a SOB too.

On topic, I don't own the IS6, but I have two friends who do, and they bloth really enjoy it.

IS-6 should be back to 7.0 now that it got nerfed, but it's still worth the money yes!

what nerf are you talking about? the one that makes the shells dissapear in the tank> or the one that heat fs bounce still from it front plate? or the one that ivan the driver or yuri the gunner are made of stalinium and soak all the damage from a shell ? comrade this tank is far away from nerfed or fixed.... it is good were it is

It's a Russian Premium tank. You know the Russian Bias is going to be strong with it. So if that appeals to you, Go get it.

A nerf is when they make the stats WORSE on a tank
