Crew lock after losing connection to a garbage server ?

First I get put in servers that don't respond and then the game outright crew locks me for no reason ?

It stops people from abusing the disconnect feature, if it didn't lock your crews. People could join a match, not like the outcome and disconnect their wifi and then reconnect it without crew lock.

Yes, this will be annoying for people who legitimately lose connection, but its in place to stop people abusing it on a larger scale.

I didn't. I was having fun in my Leo and the game was like ♥♥♥♥ you , I'll crew lock all your vehicles for 10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes for no apparent reason either.

well yes its kind of stupid that example a friendly rams me or an eney and getting u a nice crew lock for why not . but als i recomend u not to play on a server u not supposed to be example dont play on eu or on asian server whyle u are in na

I didn't say you were doing it, I was just stating that is what other people can do and why that feature is a thing.

SA servers are dead, you can sit there for an entire 30 minutes and not get a match. We have literally no choice but to play on NA servers, as EU and RU servers ping is way to high for play ability.

I still have SA servers on the list, but never get them at all. Always put on US based servers.

I'm not sure on what your internet is exactly like, but when I was playing with a really weak connection. I just closed all things that use data, and played WT only with nothing else open.

You can't choose where to play, I've had 50 open na servers and had to join a server on a laptop in Nepal with packet loss 75% it looked like the matrix

I have a pretty good internet and I never had such problems with War Thunder.

The reason why I'm upset is because it had nothing to do with my internet , the server just dies on me and crew locks me out of ALL my crews.

I wouldn't have minded if it was only my leo not to get crew locked , because after all it's the one I used , but the fact I got crew locked out of EVERYTHING is just untolerable. That is the worst game mechanic ever , for being punished for something you didn't do.

I understand why it's implemented and I agree with it. But as a player that has been legitimate , I find that not only insulting but also unfair.

10 minutes too , it's not like it was the end of a crew lock , I took the full "punishment" for just playing the game like a normal dude.

Apparently they took that out because it doesn't work anymore.

Crew lock is until 7mins after the game starts.
If you leave 2mins into the game, you'll have a 5 minute lock.
