Why did they change the ammo and reload of the t114?
Originally it fired anti tank grenades, it had 3 in the clip which was like a second reload then needed a longer reload, now its using HEAT shells, has a 4 round almost instant reload then a VERY long reload and it has to do that 4 times to get the 4 shells again.

Also another thing i just found out, the machine gun was used as a range finder for the main gun, now the main guns ammo has changed its nowhere near the same as the spotter, the main gun has heaps more velocity than the rangefinder mg. Why even make a tank if you change it so much it makes it worse and unrealistic. It already has only 2 crew cramped together, dies if you run into a stick fence at moderate speeds, and anyone who looks at you will either straight out hull break you or machine gun you to death
bump (i need to know this)

same with the ru251
the hesh was so good until they nerfed it into the shadow realm
they usually release premium vehicles then ruin them in the next patch

The t114 has been out for a while, and it used anti tank grenades, not HEAT. And they fully changed the t114s mechanics and broke it while they were at it

The premium german Brummbär was less than 3 days old from release and gaijin nerfed it to death.

These still doesnt explain why they needed to fully break the t114, it was fine the way it was before, now the range finder mg is useless, it has 4 shots before it needs a VERY long reload, and even then it only reloads 1 shell at a time and there is a 10 second wait before the first shell even starts to reload.

So wait, they made it perform like a true recoilless rifle, (accurate and decent range) but made the reload useless at the same time?

honestly i like the anti tank grenades more, i could snipe over hill with it and even provide artillery support with a friend as a range finder and spotter. They had zero reason to change it and now they've just fully broken the reload, i die before all of my shells are reloaded and 1 shell isnt enough to kill an enemy unless its a hull break

It uses the autoloader system now. Essentially, 1 in the breech, 3 on the ready and refill the autoloader when not firing. What would be nice is if the x-ray model at least changed after each shot as a way to tell just how many rounds are actually in the autoloader (hell, the French autoloaders visually show rounds empty out of the autoloader).

As for the ammo, the stats are still the same and the .50 cal M80 spotting rifle has always been off. It has a muzzle velocity of 532m/s while the HEAT has 502m/s and its always been that way. For hull break, it SHOULD work by having any shell with 1.04MJ of energy hitting anything critical (engine, transmission, or breech). Few people will be firing HE, but just expect to instantly die to any HEAT at that BR.
