USA is the best it's ever been for sure.
But Germany and Brittain, and Japan are still better with far better average win rates.
this, so much this.
also, i can see the AB point, but in RB, irl the differences between pilots were great too, so having a few lvl100 playing amongst the fresh cadets isnt that bad a thing, also, when you are level 1/10/20 and you take down a 70/80/90/100 or similarly high level, best feeling EVER.
Playing high tiers (talking air-rb here, but I bet you it is the same for combined battles) is only feasible with a premium account since you otherwise are going to run out of SL fast (remember premium-time gives you double the SL-earnings per match, repair-costs stay the same). Which makes it extremely hard to hone your skills while concentrating on one particular vehicle/plane. So either you are a god-like, skilled "War Thunderer" from the get-go or you are going to struggle big-time against those who are.
Apart from the fact that in-match "orders" have ruined tactical gameplay in random-battles with the introduction of "blind hunt" and "avenger", yet even the other types of "orders" and "battle-tasks" tend to disturb teamplay as they give individuals an incentive to prioritise individual gains over teamplay as well as map-objectives. Fact.
In other words: right now the design of air-rb is so broken it has scared many good players away that pride themselves not on kill-count and K-D alone. Yet I still cannot help myself coming back to it again and again if only for a couple of matches here and there. 2015, shortly before the introduction of said orders, this game(-mode) seemed engaging, somewhat balanced and full of nice chaps to play with. Today in 2018 I feel the standard of players has dropped significantly in random battles. Combine that with the problematic way the game goes about explaining itself.
But you know, making mistakes is human nature. My hope is Gaijin will realise some of their mistakes and correct them in future updates. Not sure when they will come around to it. air-rb especially seems to have taken the place of a backburner for them.
+1
Everything at low level before you buy is the best the game is ever going to be and that one high level vehicle that justifies the agenda of anti USA - looking at you Abrams tanks, and F86 Sabre are nerfed and crap by the time you ground through a whole crap USA tree to get there.
Lies based on pipe dreams that never come true is the story of USA in this game!
