Japanese 20mm are so bad.

They seem to do next to no damage, i unload into enemy fighters and nothing happens, meanwhile 50s that are just over half the size just tear things apart.

Why cant Gaijin get anything right when it come to balancing guns in air forces.

I don't seem to have problems with Japanese 20mm cannons. I agree that US 50 call is performing better, but the 20mm still kills planes.

Yeah but far too slowly.

Dont nerf the 50s, just buff everything else.

Then 50s stay effective and cannons become better.

Russian 20mm is about the same. I got so many "hit" plinking at a bomber in my lagg, then a P36 casually came around and ripped my wing off in one go...

Note that while Japanese 20mm's (Type 99 and Ho-5) are pretty iffy in terms of effect on target, they are the most accurate 20mm's, with the lowest horizontal and vertical dispersion of shot.
Keeping your guns on the target as you run it trough works very well.

Every cannon in the game for planes is ♥♥♥♥. 50. cals are just overperforming their multiple videos in the internet where you can see that it need more than one strave to kill a plane with 50. cals. In fact 50. cals are not good. Because of this new Jets from the US use 20 or 25 mm cannons. In game they are so good because so many american players got butthurt that their little toys are not that good.

50cals used to be far to weak, i dont think they are too strong now i just think cannons are too weak.

Have you even played the f86 woth the 50. On board? If you get a good strike it rips anything apart

Ive played the CL13 and i have an 85% win rate and a 3.6KD so i know how good they are.
