You mean spend the money via Steam? Or you mean just go to the Gaijin website and buy gold there?
If you are that worried, you could always try the GE apps.
Or you can just pay off your credit card within 30 days and not worry about interest rates while enjoying the bonuses CCs provide.
A heads-up though, you may want to make sure your card is authorized for out-of-nation purchases. Forgot to talk to my bank about that at first.
I use paypal tho
Credit Cards have 6 months as well, not 30 days. It's called a chargeback and is a bit more flexible than a warranty. PayPal is better for chargebacks for consumers though, just lodge one and they pay out almost all the time, irrespective of the reason. Rips the merchant off and puts a few out of business as it's small businesses that use PayPal more.
If someone gets your credit card data, you can get the money back as long as you haven't shared the details with someone. This can give you a bit more certainty around online purchases. But it is best to give the site the once over, to ensure it's legit.
I've purchsed plenty from both Gaijin and Steam stores, not had a problem. I've been lucky enough my GE tops up immediately when purchasing those too.
What payment system is your bank card using online? I'm assuming you're referring to using your debit card?
