Earning premium currency

What are the best and easiest ways to earn golden eagles without paying? I have heard of wagers but have not had the luck to get one.

you can get some wagers from the daily rewards some involve 1000 GE if you complete them to the last stage

Realistically speaking, the only way to gain Golden Eagles in any quick and quantifiable amount is to either A) buy them, or B) get a GE wager and go stomping in a squad with the best players you know, and hope to get lucky.

Most f2p games have some way of earning premium currency without paying (CoC, BB, FS, CR). I assumed that there is at least a small chance of getting prem currency for free every now and then.

Don't bother for the wagers as it's dependant on team victories with a bunch of kills and you need to play the game once everyday for like 2 weeks for a CHANCE of dropping one.

Wagers are easily accomplished if you know which nation at which tier to play.
Pretty much I found it to be really easy with finnish KV-1 in german tree. The tank that was infamous for it's win rate.
Wagers are really only about picking the right vehicle, nation and tree.

Wagers are really only about picking the right tank, nation and tree.

King Cobras can also be good choices... there are a handful that, when played in a squad can yield very high win rates.

Team victories that you can impact with a squad or by playing objectives.
And a 'bunch of kills' is only 1-3 per win. 1 for rookie and officer wagers and 3 for commander. Not really a difficult task.
