I would agree with that
yes, they're still ass. they suffer really bad from stock syndrome. i've experienced the same with the type 74, so much so i almost dont even want to use it...
Biggest issues that I had with the STA1 and A2 during when I played it was when AP shot and pretty much all american rounds during that time were under that heavy nerf that ruined alot of allied tanks until recently.
yeah soviet tanks will suffer from it
HEAT-FS with same crappy performance is on PT-76 and that ain't on 6.7..
76mm M4 sherman just about matches long barreled 75mm Pz4 G/H yet is 5.0 - 5.3 instead of 4.3 - 4.7.
M4-75mm is spread from 3.3 to 4.3 for no real reason. Yet Pz4 F2 which is pretty much the same is 3.7.
This ain't about whining, this is about factual in-game performance excluding player skill which is for some reason accounted for in Gaijin's statistics, there's no denying that Ger. tank tree is much easier to grind so more unskilled ppl will play it, US is pita all the way so there'll be less unskilled ppl to grind it.
This should not be accounted for in statistics as it pretty much ruins US tanks.
And I'll repeat myself: that's a stupid comparison. Nobody uses HEATFS on the T92 anyways when they have APDS unlocked, and even then the T92 still has other significant advantages over the PT to make a comparison nonsense.
The M79 ammo has 20mm more pen than the PzGr 39 and is totally viable after the AP buff, the M4 is significantly better armored than the Pz IV even in its non-jumbo version and it is sloped which means there's a chance for bounces which the Pz IV's boxy design doesn't have. And the .50 cal roof gun can kill quite a few armored vehicles and low flying planes. And the 75mm cannons have less reload than the German ones, with the 76mm being at the same reload time as the Germans while having better pen.
So there are plenty of reasons for those BRs.
