What's the point of Sturmpanzer II?

I get there has to be trash-tier machines, but this one is beyond ridiculous. No armor. No roof. Short barrel means huge drop and low accuracy. Reload speed on my second best team (level 61, tier 3 reloading) allows me to shoot once per game. What the hell?

Reload speed is 15.9s which is twice as fast as KV-2 (even SU-152 is slower with its 22.6s reload) with Expert crew. The open-top portion is a trade-off for being one of the most devastating vehicle in game as it matches OPness of Object 120.

And is one of very few tanks that are on low BR deadly just as much as they are at high BR (8+).

wow, i really underestmated the sturmpanzer. 185 pen in HEAT shells. 60 pen in HE. that certainly are tier 3 stats. u know what, just for the fun of it, im gonna test this tank at br 6.3 now XD

well, i just 1 shot popped a tiger 1. this thing is OP! i got 7k credits for that 1 kill. and in the next match i destroyed 2 tigers and a jagdpanther. the HE shell hit the side of the jagdpanther and penetrated. this tank is definately gonna be on my regular loadout.

next match? a T-34 and a lorraine 40. this thing is absolutely magical. best of it all, repair cost is only 700 silver. why? this thing dominates stuff thats way above its BR.

ofcourse i sniped those tanks. in close combat, the lack of having a proper team but dumb people doesnt do good for its fragile body. also, a flat surface is required. you need to aim like crazy high for longer distances than 500 meters.

I never had much luck with them but they are one of my favourite targets when I come across one ..... LOL,.....and my planes are drawn to them like flies to crap.

If you hit any tank with the HE round it's pretty much guaranteed to ♥♥♥♥ up the gun and tracks, rendering it an easy kill
