Why is the amazon pay option unavailable?

Yeah I didn't think it was. Never the less I ask what he was trying to do.

As far as I am aware the only transactions you can make for W.T is:
No.1 Steam transactions for Steam based DLC for the game.
No.2 Steam transaction in-game for Gaijin store stuff. (Forgive me if am wrong in calling it this, but the Gaijin store purchase opens a 'portal' to a steam transaction page).
No.3 Credit/Debit card transaction on the Gaijin store.

I do not know about PayPal, but I assume there is.

So i downloaded the game straight from the war thunder page and not through steam. I used to be able to go to the golden eagles page in game and click on the amount i wanted and it would give mean amazon pay option or additional options. I used to be able to just click amazon and it would buy golden eagles using my amazon account. Every time i do it now it says its unavailable.

Maybe because its through steam and warthunder has linked the accounts. Everything goes through steam now. If steam doesnt support it, you cant pay through amazon.

I just checked and amazon pay is indeed no viable payment option. Id suggest paypal.

When you say you are trying to do an Amazon payment option, do you mean using an Amazon Gift Card? Either way, it may be a little dated, but i hope this helps. I don't really know if you can do it, but yeah this is what i found.

I tried to search a bit more, but i kept having some error code crap, and i gave up (also it's late, and i've had a long day). Feel free to search too. Use the 'Advanced Search' option. You'll get better results... or in my case, actually get any at all. Hope it helps. If not then, yeah it's either more of the forums, or contact Gaijin support, or it's just not possible to do.

Never heard of amazon pay being used for WT

From last big thread about payments from a dev about credit card scamming on various ways you could buy eagles/packs etc they never mentioned Amazon as a legitimate way to buy.

this was a cut and paste from that forum thread by a dev -
'A reminder - purchasing game content anywhere outside official channels (Gaijin Store / Steam / Humble Bundle / Gameflier / PS Store) is againt EULA and may lead to account ban'.

Now was this amazon linked to another middleman sort of site like the ones above or straight through the Gaijin store?
Maybe steam allows amazon pay, unsure myself.

Might be worth it to contact support about any payment issues/queries as they will be able to direct you correctly. Especially with the recent big issues with accounts banned over payment issues through 3rd party.

better to be safe then sorry when it comes to your account. A lot of time and effort(and $) could be gone in a moment.

Yeah i got to say No.1 i have never seen, or heard of that option before this thread, and No.2 yeah probably U.S.. Glad you got an answer. Hope you continue to enjoy the game!
