it has the same level of precision as the Warthog HOTAS ( 350+€ ) and will last years.
if you really only want to play WT and FSX ( without modern military plane DLC ), then take it alone. But if you ever plan to install DCS/recent IL-2s you may prefer the T-16000M/TWCS throttle pack ( arround 120€, but much less than T-16000M alone + TWCS alone ).
PS : if you only want to play Arcade in WT, don't bother with a stick at all.
if you play realistic, the still-simplified FM allows things that give some advantages to mouse-aim users ( you can do them with a stick and a rudder ( T-16000M has rudder-twist ), but it is extremely un-natural ).
a stick is better used in simulation mode of WT, but this mode is almost dead since Gaijin turned it in an event only battle mode.
i advice you to download -inform yourself about- DCS world, the base game is free and let you play 2 planes, a modern ground pounder ( the Su-25T, which is quite simplified system wise but still have a professionnal level FM) and the TF-51, a trainer version of a P-51 with advanced systems and FM. if you like the modern plane, you may invest in DCS world DLCs, if you like the TF-51, you may look at the WW2 plane DLCs of DCS, or at the IL-2 games ( CloDo/Blitz, battle of Moscou/Stalingrad... ).
What about Saitek X52 ? Found one for 65 euros second hand.
And the Defender Cobra 5 ? It looks really well built.
about the defender cobra 5 : https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/19080-difference-between-vkb-defender-cobra-m5-and-vkb-defender-co/
( VKB is rather a high end joystick builder/seller )
it is said that the Cobra 5 has better ergonomy than T-16000M, it must be especially true if you intend to buy a separate throttle. However, the current version of the Cobra is said to use analog magnetic sensor, so it will probably last years too, but won't offer the same precision as a T-16000M.
And i decided to go for Hotas X or the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro because i dont really wanna spend much now cuz i dont know if i like plane simulators.
