Flight Stick For A Beginner ?
Hey people,im looking for an entry level stick to mainly use in war thunder and FSX.I want a precise stick with a good build quality.Buttons are not really important as i have my keyboard's macro buttons. Here is my list

1.Logitech Extreme 3D Pro:35 euros
2.Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X:47 euros
3.Thrustmaster T16000M FCS:58 euros
4.Defender Cobra M5:67 euros

I loved hotas x beacuse it has hotas and its really cheap but people say it has giant deadzone.
I dont have much opinions about logitech but i believe its a good pick for a starter.
I liked T16000M too beacuse i can upgrade it with pedals and hotas if i really like it and it has lots of buttons and its damn precise.
I loved Cobra M5's build quality but its pretty pricey and if i dont like it i might not find a buyer here because its not a commonly used stick in my country

What are your opinions about these sticks ?

take the T-16000M, especially if you may be interested in more "serious" simulation ( DCS world, IL-2 CloDo,Battle of... ) .

it has the same level of precision as the Warthog HOTAS ( 350+€ ) and will last years.

if you really only want to play WT and FSX ( without modern military plane DLC ), then take it alone. But if you ever plan to install DCS/recent IL-2s you may prefer the T-16000M/TWCS throttle pack ( arround 120€, but much less than T-16000M alone + TWCS alone ).

PS : if you only want to play Arcade in WT, don't bother with a stick at all.
if you play realistic, the still-simplified FM allows things that give some advantages to mouse-aim users ( you can do them with a stick and a rudder ( T-16000M has rudder-twist ), but it is extremely un-natural ).
a stick is better used in simulation mode of WT, but this mode is almost dead since Gaijin turned it in an event only battle mode.
i advice you to download -inform yourself about- DCS world, the base game is free and let you play 2 planes, a modern ground pounder ( the Su-25T, which is quite simplified system wise but still have a professionnal level FM) and the TF-51, a trainer version of a P-51 with advanced systems and FM. if you like the modern plane, you may invest in DCS world DLCs, if you like the TF-51, you may look at the WW2 plane DLCs of DCS, or at the IL-2 games ( CloDo/Blitz, battle of Moscou/Stalingrad... ).

What about Saitek X52 ? Found one for 65 euros second hand.
And the Defender Cobra 5 ? It looks really well built.

the X52 may be a good choice, but be aware that the X-52 tend to have a huge deadzone at the center, moreover the basic X52 is also extremely "soft", which makes it even worse.

about the defender cobra 5 : https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/19080-difference-between-vkb-defender-cobra-m5-and-vkb-defender-co/

( VKB is rather a high end joystick builder/seller )

it is said that the Cobra 5 has better ergonomy than T-16000M, it must be especially true if you intend to buy a separate throttle. However, the current version of the Cobra is said to use analog magnetic sensor, so it will probably last years too, but won't offer the same precision as a T-16000M.

Im low on budget and i dont know if i can spend around 20-30 euros on just one aircraft. Is there good sims for a beginner who doesnt know anything at all like me ?

And i decided to go for Hotas X or the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro because i dont really wanna spend much now cuz i dont know if i like plane simulators.

The hotas x is amazing. I really like having a separate throttle from the main joystick and just more buttons off the joystick. I'm currently using the hotas 4 with a oculus rift in wt Sim and it's been one hell of a ride
