Type 90 and Type 89=Way Too Strong

Hi War Thunder Forum I was driving my Leopard 2A5 and ran into a Type 90 and I shot his hull and it bounced off. He shot my gun barrel and broke it instantly and then shot my hull and destroyed my tank.

Then I came back in a backup and got killed by a Type 89 spawncamping our spawn with his gun.

How is this possible? I looked at the stat card of the Type 90 and it has a 5 second reload. Why does it have a 5 second reload when its just a Leopard 2A4 copy? Maybe change the reload rate of the Leopard 2A4 and 2A5 to 4.5 to compensate?

I also think its dumb the machine gun on Type 89 can damage Leopards.

Please tell me this is a joke. The Type 90 isn't a Leopard 2 copy, however it is based on it, and has an autoloader. Historically it could reload in 3 seconds so be thankful it's 5 in game.

The Type 90 is not a leopard 2a4 copy, in fact the Type 90 incorporates an autoloader.

Which IRL, excluding gun elevation time, has a reload of about 2 seconds.

Leopard2a5 has a beast armour compared to type90 and similar firepower with DM33, you just show your turrent and carry 16 shells only and you will see who is the stronger mbt.

ok so maybe the type 90 isnt a copy so what? its reload is too fast for balance. also irl good leopard loaders can do 2 seconds no problem.

You do realize yes they can with but load of training reload in like 40 seconds but the type 90 can do it it in under half the time right? I mean you know this right they show a video of the real deal reloading in under 16 seconds. And not reload under fire in combat is not excatly the same as in a shooting range.

OP is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to complain about anything in the Japanese line-up when he himself is playing Germany with a Leo 2A5.

Also as others have stated. The Type 90 is not a Leo 2 copy.

What the ♥♥♥♥ are you smoking. 2 seconds maybe if the door to the ammo rack is left open, but at that rate then ALL Abrams tanks (and MBT's with ammo stored in the back of the turret) would have that kind of reload rate. That and you nullify having blow out panels for the rear of the turret.

Technically speaking, the loader has to fetch a round from the rack, wait for the door to the ammo rack to close, then load it into the breech AFAIK. But if you want your super reload rate on the Leo then I guess the every other MBT can have it and the Type 90 can have its 2-3 second auto loader.

The Type 90 is very strong, but not OP. The type 89 on the other hand can go to 9.0
