''historical'' decals

nowdays when i look at other people's vehicles all i see is non-sense anime or either a decal of a idiotic youtuber like ''phly'' or ''dita'' (who the ♥♥♥♥ are those anywways) like what happened to good old ww2 style decals what the hell is goin on ?

uhh anime is from event and phly and dita is content partnership program so get used to it

Hate to break it to you, but people like things.

You can change what you see displayed by going to:
Optione > Main Parameters > Customization of Vehicles
and setting the options from "Any" or "Semihistorical" to "Historical". All camos and decals that are fictional will no longer show up in battle.

Yes because before these decals were added everyone only used historical decal placement.

Well, what did you expect? This has ceased to be a WW2 historical game (if it ever was) long ago. Now it's only the umpteenth multiplayer war game around, that happens to simulate also WW2 vehicles. So, it's only logical that you will see in game not history buffs, but all sort of people, that have on their vehicles all sort of decals, even the ones that have nothing to do with historical realism.

There is an option in settings to restrict decals to semi-historical or historical decals only.

Historically, i want my panzer 4 F2 to have the markings of the second waffen-SS. Not because im a nazi. Not because im racist. Simply because i enjoy history. Ww2 allowed for some of the best games available. Millions of people died. Many atrocities were happening. All for our entertainment. Everyone is making money over the rivers of blood that have flown. But no. Using historical markings is too much. Close to everyone who survived ww2 and still lives today cant even whipe their own arse without aid. Everyone who is offended by ww2 nazi symbols in a game containing german tanks are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should be banned. The biggest joke here is, that despite 2 world wars, huge inflations, after war executions, rape and being held back technologically up to the fall of the ussr, germany is still the biggest economy in europe and dictates what games should contain. Hitler might not have thought about this, but he somehow still caused german supremacy.

yea yea but if u own a company and cant gain profit from europe whatchu gonna do spend more time making 2 different game? just get used to it or download some map from live.warthunder

Well, I can't even get the "Blue Sky White Sun" ROCAF roundel anymore... So I got to settle with the ROC Army Cap Badge decal that has the Blue Sky White Sun symbol. That itself is not accurate but I have no other choice.
