Seriously, I've had the most fun in quite a while in this game just now, playing this vehicle. Like, winning 5v2 scenarios and stuff.

yea, 75 pen at 100 meters makes sure you get through anything at br 2. after gaijin fixed spalling effects of ap shells, the british guns have seriously become good. they are just as well doing their job as aphe shells. and hte upgraded shells of 92 pen at 100 meters makes sure the gun is still doing its job in later br's.

Not as well, they usually take more than one shot for a kill. However, two shots average for a kill with 3.6s reload is not bad at all. Also, the APCBC shell can pen up to 96mm or something at 10 meters. It's insane, even the mighty B1 bis can't stand up to your penetration, and you get tanks with those shells avaliable right off the bat with the A13 and Tetrarch.

The Valentine mk 1 is honestly the most OP tank I have played to date, or maybe that's just because everyone at low tiers sucks. 60mm of armour on sides and front makes this thing pretty much impenetrable in a downtier/at its own BR while with 96mm of pen it can deal with 3.3s easily

The only main exception — watch out for the Pz IV F2, it is the main source of obliteration for the Valentine in an uptier.

Yeah but the Valentine can kill it just as easily as it can kill the Valentine, but with the bonus of that it is almost always downtiered

Not my experience with the Valentine. It's about 50/50 uptiers and downtiers. Even in downtiers the mobility is underwhelming and you aren't all that invulnerable. Been getting lolpenned by italian pizza delivery vehicles, Pz IV F1s, F2s... It's pretty durable usually, but it seems to me that I always meet some sweat who's clubbing at low tier and knows exactly where to shoot.

I shoot them in the turret, they usually lose the turret crew and retreat, then come back when it's replaced and get a repeat dose, running out of crew and dying. Or flank them, since they don't really expect anything to be able to keep up with their go-karts of bouncy death, and their side armor is free real estate for a 90mm penning 2-pounder cannon that shoots once every 3.5 seconds.
