I can’t recall the name offhand but it’s on his patreon, but you can only get it for a $10 subscription atm.
As someone who has it, it is pretty awesome, but nowhere near finished. Some vehicles break the engine sounds altogether and the mod has to be reinstalled, and some sounds are goofy.
(US M3 machine guns for example have the sound effect of an A-10)
Sparta Aircraft Sound Mod [live.warthunder.com]
And:
Kiwi Aircraft Gunfire Sound Mod [live.warthunder.com]
From what the author/developer of the mod states on the WT Live site it’s not something that is an easy or quick fix.
Epic Thunder's Tank Sound pack that revamps tank sounds [live.warthunder.com], or.....
Red Orchestra 2 German (English)Tank Commander Sound Mod [live.warthunder.com]
And:
Red Orchestra 2 Russian (English) Tank Commander Sound Mod [live.warthunder.com]
Sorry for the free publicity, sorry....
As far as I am aware, no mod has ever been endorsed by Gaijin and I'm not sure I foresee that changing any time soon.
I think what I am trying to get at, is that a lot of people have used sound mods for quite a long time (Even I did, for a short period, before an update broke it and I uninstalled it). Most try to be entirely within the games rules and provide no extra advantage.... Just saying that if Gaijin finds that some mods offer additional advantages that they deem are cheating, I honestly couldn't tell you what would happen.
Not trying to scare people, just trying to make sure people are making informed decisions.
