Also I can actually look all around the plane while manuevering without having to see where I'm going. Can't simply look back, up or to the side for a split second to see what's around me without losing track where I'm going outside of VR in the same way. That's aside from the immersion benefit which is awesome. VR has its benefits.

Also to answer the OP's question, no the touch controllers don't work for Warthunder, but a standard gamepad will. Doesn't have to be bluetooth either so long as you're close enough to your PC and isn't bothered by the cord. You won't be moving around much aside from turning your head.

That motion sickness mostly come from walking/running without moving irl and mostly while standing up. If you're in a vehicle it doesn't affect you much, particularly while you're sitting down and there's no reason to stand up for Warthunder.

war thunder vr is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, dont bother unless you play air simulator, dont even bother with tanks or planes in any other gamemode

Some, lets say less than helpful comments here... But WT VR in the planes is pretty darn good, especially the lower tiered BR planes with open cockpits. VR in the other modes is pretty much a waste of time.

no point unless you're playing sim, since every other players in air arcade and realistic has a stupidly high advantage over you. and dont even bother with tanks period since you dont turn with the turret and you cant see tanks at all.
