Curiosly the luck of the british might be finally turning around. I feel hispanos have become better those last days, and the QF 2 pounders at low tier got a penetration nerf to their shells but APCBC still is definitely strong, and they finally got an APHE shell as well with decent pen.

Couple that with the Hunter F.6's really good SRAAMs and Gaijoob might finally be doing the british some justice.

The aphe shell is completely broken. Fails to penetrate the side armour of the PZIV C and PZ 2 on the test range regularly, no model of the shell when it penetrates, acts more like HEAT than aphe on the damage model as it detonates on impact then sends shrapnel into the tank.

I think they messed up modeling the fuse and now its basically HE/HEAT instead of aphe.

as far as i know some tank turrets are glitch when shot in a certain way, especially the later Pz4 versions where shells magically fail to penetrate similar to your statement.
