I don’t need advise how to kill them, I have enough experience with them. My point is that the Leo and T-80 can rely on their armor. While the M1A1 can’t. The M1A1 isn’t a glass cannon either. The gun is basicly the same as the 2A5.
Kontakt-5, even in it’s extremely nerfed state, prevents penetration outside of the driver’s hatch weakspot and gun breach.
They shouldn’t have added the 2A5, it should have been the 2A4 C armour package. And both the M1A1 and M1A1(HA) should have been added with M829A1.
Plus, they made the engine louder than petrol/diesel, when it's called "Whispering death" considering the only thing you ever really hear is the clank of the tracks.
This video covers it quite nicely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUWPcmZPFug
that makes no sense.. why should you add the m1a1(ha) its just a m1a1 with more armor nothing else its also slower, why would you want it if they can still pen your tank, the germans needed the leopard2a5 but i think its a little too strong in turret armor and should be fixed no one knows the actual armor of the turret the americans should have gotten the M1A2 and the russians the T64BM along with the T72BU that would have been fair, the Kontakt era 5 could have been applied to the T80B as unlockable armor.
Also the T-64BM isn’t Russian, T-72BU is just a prototype T-90 that is identical (if they made the end of the Cold War the new cut off date or something, then T-72BU would make sense, but we’re passed that) so there isn’t much sense in calling it T-72BU unless you are making it some premium/event vehicle. (Alternatively, you could be mistaken the T-72BU with the T-72B obr. 1989). The T-80B never got Kontakt-5, unless you want to count the completely different 2010s T-80BVM, which has multiple chances, and the kontakt-5 was mainly side armour (Relik is it’s main ERA).
That would be the case if ammunition actually had historical penetration, or if they added DM53 and stuff. But as of know, as you know, nothing that is a KEP in game has 600mm penetration.
The T-90 is a renamed T-72BU with very little changes, still the T64BM would be very important it doesnt matter if its not russian its still a mixed game with all kinds of warsaw pact nations. I dont care they added tanks from 2016 why not add the newest T72's and T80's from the ukraine war.
The normal M1A1 has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ composite armor that protects the tank against 350-450 mm of Kinetic penetrators. While the M1A1 HA has 600-800mm of armour against APFSDS.
Gaijin added like almost all the main T-64 and T-80 variants. So why not some of the M1A1's variants?
Or better, add the M1A2 so all the nations can suffer what America suffers now.
