Radar AA cant lock planes in RB tanks any more ?

as title. if you "test drive" it, it works fine on AI plane targets. in-game i cant lock any players planes or helicopters using usual manual lock.
the Radar activated lock doesnt work either. again works on AI so binds are find.

this is on the Gepard.

i read patch notes and didnt see any changes.. anyone else got this or have i missed something ? :(

They introduced ground clutter to the game, which makes it nearly impossible to get a lock on very lowflying targets, especially when trees or hills are next to it. On higher altitude targets it should still work just fine.

nope, totally clear map areas, near spawns, things up really high including choppers zero luck

Well I played the Gepard, too, today and had little issue locking unto stuff, including helos.

Have the same problem, can´t log the planes i want. Clear sky i try to log and the system logs in a plane somwhere else or does nothing. I play without radar, because of this bug. When it logs in the target i dont want and is 5000m away the turret follows it so its nearly impossible to shot down the plane attacking me.
