It's a good game. But it's not a game where you can have an expectation of requiring multiple hits to kill.
such as?
Just a loose cannon aren't you..........time to increase the meds!!!
Whenever I pen a tank, the ammo soaks up all of the damage and the crew takes none.
Agreed, just wish that other company would improve its vehicle graphics. Even with their new and improved HD textures, it feels like a big step back.
I agree with others who suggest if you don't have much invested, you ought to jump ship on Gaijin. They're a dirty company and people like me who waited for years thinking they were serious about fixing problems were rewarded with bullying and bans for pointing out nothing was being fixed. That said, if you do stick with it, bump your crew health first, especially if you're playing planes. On ground forces, learn how to angle your armor, that will help unless you're up against a vehicle that has so much gun it doesn't care about your armor (which happens a lot unfortunately). And work on being exposed to only one enemy at a time. If you pull that off and manage to shoot them before they shoot you, there's a good chance they won't be able to shoot back due to damage/crew knockout. And lastly, some vehicles are straight up better than others. Stick with those until you get good enough you can skill your way around with the less-than vehicles. That's my advice, at any rate.
Appreciated, i'll keep at it but it just gets frustrating
Most BS Gaijin did was introducing "modules" - it's so fun to get set on fire on brand new tanks or ships...
- Shells flying into a wormhole without doing damage
- A strange shot makes a single shrapnell pinballing through the entire tank
- Getting shot through walls / buildings
- T-34 don't catch fire when hitting fuel tanks
That's what I can say without looking in my Feedback posts from the closed Beta and comparing it with the current game
WOWS has all all these too, i play both btw.
The difference is that WOWS isn't a nutshell melee game XD
-this is the first I heard of shrapnel actually behaving like shrapnel like that
-I actually did get shot through someone clipping their turret through a building recently
- none of the fuel tanks consistently catch fire. If anything Russian and Japanese tanks should be less likely to catch fire from a fuel hit because they use diesel, which isn't anywhere as volatile as gasoline.
