how do i fight the Jagdpanzer iv?

I fear no tank, but that thing, it scares me.

I play RB, and i've worked my way up to 4.3 br with soviet tanks, and this thing gives me nightmares. At least with a panzer iv h i can shoot him through the driver's viewing port for an easy kill, but i cannot figure out how to penetrate the jagdpanzer from the front. although i can usually one shot him from the side or rear. At first i thought i could kill him like a Stug, and the T-34 57 has a gun with good penetration, but whenever i shoot him from the front it always either glances off or does nothing. And the Kv-1 Zis 5 has an even worse gun, while he has no problem penetrating my ridiculous armor. Where do i even shoot this thing?

the Jagdpanzer iv is actually quite easy to kill, most german TD's and ♥♥♥♥ have weak lower plates and face armor

Congratulations, you're closer to understanding what it's like to fight the KV-1 Zis when it's in a downtier, except you have much better odds.

Also, don't judge me for playing the zis 5! The front plate is only 20mm thick, and I needed it for the kv 2 anyway

Probably multiple plates, considering almost everything it fights below its BR can only pen it by shooting between the tracks.

There may be multiple plates, I'm not sure, but I am certain that it is thin, and completely unangled, right in front of the driver, and because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Russian crew layout one shot through there will kill most, if not all of the crew.

it's completely unangled, right in front of the driver, and thick enough that almost nothing below 4.3 can pen it anyway.

Eh, this thread wasn't even meant to be about the kv 1, but you'll have to test it out yourself. If you are convinced the kv 1 is unkillable under 4.3 then that's fine.
