It has an extra plate on the left side of its gun (right side from enemy's perspective) where the gunner is that makes it much more difficult for most tanks to kill it through the turret. The gunner is still frontally vulnerable since the plate doesn't extend from top to bottom of the turret, but it makes the killing area much smaller (and trollier if you manage to hit the edge of the plate).

if you play RB then, no, theres a massive br blackhole and german 5.7s will be uptiered in 95% of their battles. it has APCR and more horsepower over the H1. both are equally useless imo.

yea so great that the H1 is being lowered in BR. so obviously not great. youre intitled to your opinion but the facts say otherwise, unless you are playing AB, then disregard anything i said. im talking about RB.

It's a worthwhile upgrade. The tank is pretty good, but during uptiers you should take out the panther A.

The E has a smaller cupola too, which makes angling more worthwhile since you've not got such a huge weakspot ruining your angling.

Tiger E is much better than Tiger H, but still kind of weak compare to other faction's HT & MT.
For 5.7 you want:
Waffentrager for sniper, Jagdpz IV 70V for assault tank & stalker, panther for sniper + flanker, wirbelwind for AA + CQC MT/ solo LT hunting.

Just doesn't have the slot for tiger because of the worthless short 88 and armor

Not much to add. It is a great 5.7 tank. It’s main cons are the cons shared by all 5.7 tanks, so it is nothing against the tank itself. I love the Tiger E, and I loved it so much I bought the Heavy Tank No.6 to grind the Japanese tree. You might dislike it like some. But buy it and try it — you may love it, like me, don’t let the negativity prevent you from trying it.

yes, It have an MG mounted on the roof to kill light armoured vehicle and shooting down incoming planes. and your lower gaclis have a track covering it for extra armour annnd you dont have smoke launchers on your hull, so your turret and move all around without any problem

Not having the giant dumb cupola is nice and the roof mg lets you take down (or at least scare off) planes.
