Is the USSR Summer Bundle worth it?

The tank's good, the jet not so much. You can't even use them together in ground RB because the jet at 9.0 will drag you into matches against 10.0 all the time.

So if anything, I'd buy the tank alone when it goes on sale the next time, and forget about the jet. Just use the IL-28s for ground attack runs.

Not worth getting it if you dont have a lineup around the tanks BR. It might be worth getting it if you have tanks that have a BR around 8.3 etc. Being a premium it does have its benefits, but is it worth paying $70 for 2 vehicles?

Then at least that part about the uptiers is gone, but it's still a ♥♥♥♥♥ jet. At least to me. I don't like the angled rocket ramps. Shooting with them is a major PITA.

If hes goal is to reach russian toptier, its good business, im saying this because i made the same with Italy and now france, i brought 8.7 premium with no other 8.7 or 8.3 mbts as backup, with a single 8.7 premium i was able to grind italy in 8 days and right now im 2 mbts away from french Lclerc.
You can earn and buy warbond backups and also if he plays wise 1 tank should be enought for most matches.
Those 8.7 premiums are in a good place, most of the time go agaisnt 7.7s and even uptiered they can still fight 9.7s and the amount of silver and recearch points per match are awsome.
Stabilizers and apdsfs is all you need at those brs.

The MiG-15 in the bundle is quite bad as it is meant for CAS, but the rockets are angled and are difficult to use effectively, not to mention you can't take the pylons off which significantly hamper performance.
On 50% sale ($30), the T-55 looks worth it, but the MiG-15 definitely isn't. I'd say even the Meteor in the British bundle is better.
None of the packs are necessarily worth it for the full value, maybe the only one is the US one as you get the XM-1 and a 9.0 Sabre, but personally I am still waiting for just the UK/Japan tank packs to go on sale on their own.

I prefer to play russian 8.3 and not get uptiered into 9.7 so not really first choice for me.

Test fly the Mig 15 Ish before you buy the pack, you will see it is really not good.
