(or ZTZ-99)
and since they added type 96, I am expecting it soon to arrive.

Yes. When the tree was announced, the Type 99 and Type 99A were both listed as planned. The US are highly secretive of the M1A2, the Brits are with the Chally 2, The Germans are with their Leo 2's, but that did not stop Gaijin from adding them. They don't really have accurate info on much of the 10.0 - 10.3 tanks, it is, for the most part, estimations.

although the 99a tho, VERY INTERESTING, is listed as having active protection, and its listed as coming on the warthunder calender. so im not sure how they are gonna be accurate without including that and if they do...i just dontknow....

it'll be joined by the T-90 (which is one of the first tanks to incorporate APS)

I do not speak for the developers or have any clue about future development...

But as someone who was one of the first to suggest ATA missiles and had a Community Manager laugh at me and close my thread back in the day, and after being told for so many years that, "Oh, the timeline stops at 1953, then it kinda stops at 1955... (So on and so forth)", the very-likely answer is, "It's simply a matter of time".

The real question is, how long are you willing to wait to see such a thing? ))

as it has been in the past, I don't think they will add the whole of top-tier China until they have a high enough br bracket to fit China's most popular tank (probably the Type 99A) and then build a tree from that.
Until China gets a top-tier tank to rally around, they won't do too much on top-tier China
