What is the average age of a War Thunder player?
I feel like i just have to ask, is there an answer to this? This is a team based game which rely on TEAMWORK to win. It seems like the mindset of the average player is ''Fk you and everyone else, i'm going solo''. They will not listen to what you say, they will not help you and they will not communicate.

If you need help repairing, they drive past you.

If you're upside down, they drive past you.

If your gunner is dead, they will let the enemy kill you before they kill him.

If you mark on the map, they ignore.

etc etc etc you get the point.

It seems like players do everything to ''displease'' the ones around them. Would an adult do that?
I think not, Every other match is like a damn kindergarden... This game would be so much better if people actually took it seriously.

There, rant over.

it's a free-to-play game, what do you expect?

Your first two issues are situational and team mates choose to help if is safe to do so and if you're upside down than that is on you... learn to drive. Your rants take time to respond and your teammates may be busy with opponents. The battle is not just about you and the sticky mess you find yourself in.

Teamwork is not worth my time: getting kills earns SL, not winning.

doesn't winning give a substantial multiplier?

Yes it does but some seem to be bent on solo achievements. Winning as a team is more rewarding than those carried by just a couple players.

For repairing, depends. Personally, it's one of my 2 main jobs in a light tank (scouting being the other). Though the indication that somebody needs help seems really random (sometimes it shows, sometimes it does not). The only time I won't help is if they are in a position that will just get me killed, though I will usually smoke up around them. Sometimes I also hold my repair key yet it won't actually help.

As long as it's safe, I quite often watch others try to help somebody who has flipped. Problem is, a lot don't actually know where to attach to actually flip a tank which often causes them to give up quite fast. As before, I will help a flipped friendly when possible as it often only takes a few seconds to do so.

Your third point is highly situational. If the enemy knows he just killed your gunner and somebody wants to pop out to help you, he is going to become the priority target. If I am 100% sure he just fire, has a bit of a longer reload, and is alone, then sure, I'll lend a hand. Though if I have any doubts, sorry, not worth getting myself killed.

Fourth, again, it depends. If somebody marks, sure I'll take note. If it's far off, not much use to me. If it's very close, then I'll take strong note of it. However, the map does not provide a huge amount of detail on a lot of maps and it can be easy to not be able to directly locate the tank you may be marking out.

As pointed out, it is still a F2P game. A game with a heavy grind and potentially quite expensive repair costs. Because of that, many are more concerned with kills and/or caps for a win to get the most XP and SL and things like helping repairs offer minimal rewards and the others offer nothing.

I do a lot of the same- I try prioritizing helping teammates when it's possible, but it's not always possible to actually help them. Even the worst teammate can still help by giving the enemy team more targets that aren't you. Keeping them alive pays.

Seriously needs to happen, same with changing air RB so it's not just glorified team deathmatch.
RB and ground SB need a redesign in general.
