Last I checked the assault fuse is broken.
If your bombs blow up instantly then the timer is not set correctly and the game uses an assault fuse. Try setting the timer again. Verify game files to make sure nothing is corrupted. If it still keeps happening after that, open a thread in the tech support branch of the official forum.
Going slow is an invitation to even a bad SPAA player to shoot you down, and as long as you don't exceed 500km/h by much all of them can be comfortably pulled out of the dive, some even at way higher speeds.
I had a battle where I was trying to dogfight, a friendly wirbel kept almost hitting me instead, so I flew at the wirbel with the enemy fighter behind me to give them a super easy target.
The wirbel still missed every shot and I died.
Anecdotal evidence is no evidence at all. I see crappy SPAA players every single day who wouldn't hit a plane if it rolled past them on the ground 30m away. Many of them are so bad that you wan't to ask them "why do you even bother taking an SPAA into your lineup?" But relying on them being bad is still bad practice, and minimizing your exposure time and making sure you have the speed for a quick breakaway is important.
one bomb strike perfect, democracy delivered.
The next game bombs again blow up when leaving plane.
I will try to set the fuses again and maybe on 2.0 and get back.
Thanks ahead guys
For bigger bomb you can only fly faster (~400+kmh) for the same timer, otherwise they might be able to get to safety or mitigate the damage enough to survive
Hey man thanks for the reply:
the problem is though, its not about blastradius if that is what you mean.
The bombs just go of immediatly after release like 1 millimeter after dropping from the bombrack.
I just showed a clip of this to my gf and she was like hu did somebody hit you with like bullets or something? but the replay shows its not that either.
but thanks anyway im gonna try and find a way to put that video on here somewhere so people can see what the problem is with the bombs, if they can excuse my flying :p.
So i just had a match where i dropped my bombs at 380 km/h
they were spot on, problem was me belly bomb once again exploded when leaving the plane.
I have a video of this now, cause it sucks losing a plane every time i bomb somebody.
