Mig 21

Why didn't they add just a slightly later version of the mig to the game it feels like the mig is super outclassed by the f4 phantom.

Well, if both the F-5 and F-13 were at the same low speed, the F-13 should be able to out-turn the F-5.

I have yet to be convinced that the F-5A (or even the 5E) would be an "equivalent competitor" to the F-13.

I think the 21Bis would be, at least power-to-weight and outright speed wise a slightly better competitor, but it's also what, 5-10 years later introduction date? (Although, I suppose that matters little at this point)

I'm guessing certain nations would get one and it'll be a different model with differing performances or expect to see the MiG-23/27 and F-14 combo to follow close behind. The F-5 was just a suggestion as apart from the F-8 not much else has been suggested that could keep pace with the MiG without being too OP or expensive if added to WT.

remember the F4 is alot better than the F14 because the amount of AAM's it can carry is quicker and faster, you are prob thinking about the Chinese Mig-21 that is just F13 but better at every level, 1 more gun, and better engine

not really sure, but i know for a fact we should not have the F13 in game nor the F4, like if the F4 is in game why not just give us either Mig-21bis or Mig-21M, if not at least give me Mig-17F in the Russian tree cyka

Every patch isn't about balance, it just shifts the 'bias' from one nation to another.

i just find the imbalance in Russia kinda annoying i want proper tanks and jets, the only good jet in the Russian tree are the Mig-17 the other ones are meh at best, and now we are getting 2 other Mig-17's that are so much better than the normal tech tree one, same with tanks T-55A at 8.3? and T-55AM at 8.7 with better shells, armor and speed, id say the best high tier premium would be T-62 because its nothing new and is still a pretty solid tank. P2WThunder. PowercreepThunder, and also where is my Mig-17F in the normal tech tree?

Pretty sure at this rate he's using the thread as an outlet to ask a moderator to implement a handful of planes and complain about how he thinks battle ratings are messed up.

Maybe someone will return us to the conversation about MiG-21's vs F-4C's.

The F-14 can do this...

x2 AIM-9, x6 AIM-7

x4 AIM-9, x4 AIM-7

The F-4 does the latter only. I think tests were done for Sparrows on outboard pylons but was never used operationally.

Neither the MiG-21 or F4 should have been added to the game this early, nor the T2. Every new jet since 1.85 was rushed to ♥♥♥♥.

This so much this... T-2 was literally war-gaming levels of pay to win it had no reason to be put with the F-100 and MiG-19PT. The f-13 sucks pure and simple 60 rounds of 30mm is a f*cking joke considering the Chinese tree gets a BETTER mig 21 than the Soviet originators of the platform. The MiG-21PFMA or M would be much better having 200 rounds in the GSH-23-2L auto cannon and four hard points to mount munitions such as the superior R-60 and R-60M AAMs.

just saying what USA has that Russia doesnt, its powercreep after all, but yeah i went overboard on the last post for sure lol but but lets be real here the Mig-21F13 is gonna suck ass.
