Emblem of east german army on soviet tanks?

I just found out that you can not put the emblem of the east german army on a soviet vehicle, only on germans. Which is very stupid because all of the east german tanks were built in the soviet union.

Makes me wonder if we will see some tanks used by the DDR then. Either that or a group who has pull on the official forum complained and whined about it and it got restricted.

I am pretty damn sure that was possible at some point. I had the NVA ground forces logo on some of my later tier russian tanks like the T-55. Must've been another one of those patch notes left out by Gaijoobles.

And yeah, if they can't give Germany their NVA ground vehicles then at least let us put NVA decals on Russian vehicles.

you used to be able to but (im not sure) they've shuffled around a few decals and it might be put under german tank decals and maybe cause of that isnt allowed on it? but its just a guess

I thought I was the only to notice, but it seems they are pushing harder on nation restricted emblems. I can't put any Chinese emblems on my Type 65 in my Soviet tree and I can't put Soviet emblems (such as a simple red star) on my Chinese tree Type 65.

I get that some can be to avoid trolling/FF in sim battles, but still, some restrictions are kind of stupid in my view.

100% agree. I had the PLA air force roundel on a few tanks before the patch and come 1.91 they were all removed. Very silly that you can't even use it on Chinese vehicles in the Russian tree like the Type 62 and Type 65.

Same. I had the PLA air force roundel around the sides of my Soviet Type 65 and it looked really nice, now, it's just kind of empty and nothing from the Soviets really fits like the PLA roundel. Same for my Chinese one, but in regards to the front. I have the red star in front of the gunner like the one at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, but I can't do it for my Chinese one because the Soviet Army Roundel (1918 - 1943) is nation locked.

Edit to OP: You can't place the DDR ground forces emblem on Soviet tanks, but you can still place their air force roundel on them. Not quite the same, but still a DDR marking you can place on Soviet tanks.
