War Thunder Auto login through Steam

While most people want to disable this feature, I actually prefer to have the game log in automatically to my Steam account without having to enter my Username and Password every time. People seem to know how to get rid of this feature, so I assume people know how to activate it.

as far as I know it can't be disabled,
you can log into the game through war thunder launcher and not the war thunder steam launcher though. No auto log on being used on that.

i dont know if the autologin option ingame works for Steam (yet) or only the Gaijin login.
but the variable responsible for it is save in the common.blk which is located in
c:\users\<username>\Documents\My Games\WarThunder\saves\

there should be a variable named steamautologin:b=no (or something like that ^^) present.
if you edit that to yes it should log you in automatically (unless they've changed it and the
standard autologin:b=no does it now... in this case you should be able to enable it in the
ingame options)

oh my god.. man you are savior :D i wanted to move to steam but for some dumb reason gaijin just decided to make everything hard so i was trying to disable the steam account auto log in for like 5 hours and only your post was helpful :D

yesterday when i opened the war thunder and clicked in the play buttom in the launcher it was teleported to the login screen but i don't want it because i play with the steam account
someone can help me?

For anyone who wants to kinda skip the steam login.
Try to log as usual, but don't do the login through the game browser, click on the bottom left to open your personnal web browser. This one should remember your steam login, but must of all, still be logged on your steam account so you go directly to the button conneting your account and launching the game. No need to go through steam guard as your browser is already connected :)
