The Challenger tank series are just overpowered.

Like oh my goodness. Fighting Challengers in my Leopard 2a5 is just impossible, as well as in my Leopard 2k and 2a4. They bounce EVERY shot, penetrate every time and reload in just 5 seconds!

They're also extremely fast and I find myself getting flanked all the time in my 2a5. I try to fight them in my T-80u as well, but every single time I find myself getting 1 shot and I'm unable to kill them back!

I REALLY think the Challenger tanks need nerfing, and my 2a5 needs a buff. I mean, shouldn't their TOGS system give thermal imaging to both the gunner and commander? I'm "pretty" sure it does ingame *cough* but obviously they're so overpowered that that doesn't matter.

I think I'm part of the overwhelming majority that thinks that the Challenger series of tanks are overperforming and need nerfs.

Buff the Leopard 2a5 Gaijin!

When they are hull down, they are very dangerous, the only way to destroy them is to shoot and destroy their gun barrel 1st, but keep in mind that you can do the same with your leopard2a5 to them, leopard2a5 has really strong turrent...

well if he is serious, then he is the one with the problem and at that br,
I don't think it is one that is going to be fixed.

I mean, this post is basically I can't kill an "ok" tank and the crap tanks below it so can you please
nerf them and buff the best tank in the game.

I think the problem is that by now, those that are playing the brits, the ones that are left, are half decent players. I still kill 2a5 with my cheif 10, why, because i shoot them in the sides,
show me an angle and I will kill your 2a5.....and I'm an average player.

Its like when you see a ferdi player, they are going to be total crap, or total very good.

Bait, but I do have a major problem with the TOGS system for both the Chally 1 and 2.

I thought TOGS was designed as a universal gunnery system so that the commander could designate targets and then point the gunner in the right direction (hence both the commander and the gunner have the same optics)... (4.5x and 12.5x irl if I recall)

You'll notice it even more when it comes to the Challenger 2, with its upgraded TOGII system, it pretty much has two of the same modules.

Yet ingame of course the Commander gets crappy non-thermal optics and the gunner gets thermal, doesn't seem very Universal to me.

Agreed, though I really hate that there's no way in hell you can kill a 2a5 that's hulldown, as someone that's unlocked most of the MBT's of all nations the 2a5 is a next-level tank by comparison to everything else.

Honestly, driving the 2a5 is just cruelty. Its like stomping kittens, I can't understand the people that die to me when I'm in my Challenger. :/

You have it all wrong. You have to rejoice the challenger for it's design, as whilst your tank is there burning away after being hit by 2A5s or what not, you can go and make a jolly lovely cup of tea!
