tips for playing M10 GMC

How do people progress with this vehicle ? I find a good ambush spot, don't stay for more than a couple of shots before relocating, but this doesn't seem to work. I get a couple of kills and then immediately I get kamikazied by one of the players whose tank Id just taken out. Makes playing open topped TDs impossible. Its beyond frustrating that people have to do this pathetic revenge killing in planes, kind of ruins the game

When I use the achilles I tend to use it in wooded areas. Using the 50. on top for anti air is possible and if u get an extended burst on a diving plane it is toast.

I try to use longer firing lines and stay near solid cover (a rock, or building that cannot be shot through)

Also, the mantlet is pretty solid at longer ranges, and the hull with the additional track armor can even bounce the occasional F2 round. Just be sure to avoid street fighting at close range if you can, the turret speed is killer slow.

Yeah that would work but since the patch its difficult to hear planes usually just hear the awful new falling bomb sound and by then its to late. Just a shame that the game is being ruined by players that cant take a killing
