Props cant compete with jets.
Props should never face jets, they dont match up at all well, the jets have superior performance in almost all areas that actaully matter, if you lose to a prop in a jet you just suck.

Fully upgraded spitfire mk24 top speed 480 mph (at sea level 370mph) while under wep.

p80 527 fully upgraded
f84 589 fully upgraded
he 162 481 stock
262 a1a 496 stock
ho 229 521 stock
me 262 a-1/u4 497 stock
yak 15 434 stock
yak 23 562 stock
Vampire 531 fully upgraded

Are you seeing a trend here.

out of the 8 jets in that list the spit will face 6 of them are faster and most of them are at stock speeds, stock jets are faster then fully upgraded props, and take into account sea level speed you could be up to 200mph slower, how can you even call that fair.

All the F84 pilot has to do is not suck and hes basically untouchable.

He also get an air start.

And what's the accelleration of these jets?

The spitfire will reach 480 about 2 minutes before the vampire does.
Race to 370mph this is the spits top speed at sea level.
spit 2 min 6 seconds at wep
P80 1 min 30 seconds
f-84 starts the match at 384mph
he 162 1 min 52 seconds stock
mig 9 1 min 15 seconds
Vampire 1 min 22 seconds

You get the idea.

The spit wont reach that speed though since it needs to climb to do so, its top speed at sea level is about 370 mph.

and how much faster is it's sustained climb rate? It'll be around 1-2k above most of hte jets.
But the fact is you get 1 chance in the prop then you have to climb again and that when you get pounced by 2-3 jets all going 200mph faster then you and if you climb they have more energy so you can only out climb them once, and given the f84 starts at nearly 400mph youll never get higher then them

J7W would say F-U to any jets at lower airspace, and trust me, you don't want to face them face to face.

J7W is like the pre-nerf N1Ks now. Love that thing.
Has no trouble using alt to its advantage, even against space climbing jets.

The fastest i could get a mk24 spit to dive was about 550mph and then it ripped very soon after that, so you cant sustain that so you cant maintain enough speed to get onto the tail of anyone, some of those jets can achieve that speed without diving.

and when they're fighting literally any of the other people on your team, and what about any kind of maneuvering fight, along with the accelleration at low speeds of a spit being MILES better than the jets, if you can fight P-47s in spitfires, you can fight jets too.

But thats if they are stupid enough to star doing that if theya re even slightly smart they can just fly off into the distance when you have to just sit there and wait for a mistake it makes the game boring.

Again, can you fight P-47's in a spitfire?

it's the same scenario there.

Yes but they dont have the same level of speed at sea level, spits are just as fast as p47 in most cases.
Bf109s can catch a p47 a spit cant catch an f84.

As are Griffons against Jets.
In most cases.

No they arent, you cant be this deluded, you cant dive as , you dont accelerate as fast, you are about 150mph slower at sea level all you can do is out climb them and hope that they have low energy and even if you climb you cant sustain enough speed in a dive to catch them.

the speed difference between the spit and p47 is minimal not 150mph.

P-47: 662km/h stock.
Spitifre MkVc: 543km/h stock

so, about 120km/h slower, but they fight each other and the spitfire does just fine.

I wonder why that is, can't be greater low speed accelleration, better maneuverability and better sustained climb rate, can it?

Same thing with the jets.

The Griffon can outspeed 162s, Yak-15/17s, has better climb than both aforementioned examples(despite what the stat cards say).
You also out-accelerate them; have you ever even played jets?

Yeah but look at the their real speed at a reasonable alt, the p47 cant reach that until about 25000 feet.

did you not see my previous post i tested the acceleration and speed of multiple planes your wrong, you hardly see 162s and you never seen either of the yaks, its always mig 9s, p80s, f84s and ho 229s.
