Can WT add experimental tanks?
Theres alot of tanks that are experimental out there and I wanted gaijin to add the japanese heavy tanks. Now the japanese sits in a "not so good nation" because of their paper thin armor but strong guns. I know some of you gonna complain that this statement is wrong but japanese tanks has low amounts of chance to bounce a shot. Literally the only tank that is armored is the heavy tank no.6 which is a imported tiger from Nazi Germany and Ho-Ri production and experimental. The ho-ri is like a japanese ferdinand but more curves. The japanese can be easily get one shotted by soviet tenks and others. Im here to give japanese tank player a chance to not get ptsd from one shotted in every br. Japanese should have a comeback like the brits having a good shells in high tier. I would like gaijin to add these tanks:
-type 91 heavy
-type 95 heavy
-O-I experimental
-O-I
-O-ni
-O-Ho
-Type 4 heavy
-Type 5 heavy

Yes this tank is taken from WOT. I would like you to add if theres more.

Anyway, these tanks are very heavy some with more than 100 tons. Some have big guns and heavy armor. But I hope they are not so fast, easy to flank(dont worry, the side armor is crap),slow reload, etc.

IIRC, they're planning on adding the O-I and Japanese heavy tanks like that. I'm honestly ok with prototype / paper / experimental tanks as long as they don't break the game more than it already is.

I can see them being added. As long they dont break the game!

Im just worried that warthunder will just turn into another blueprint vs blueprint tank gameplay, where they make up their own stats on tanks that never even existed.

We already have plenty of blueprints and prototypes in the game, like the Panther II, the BV 238, The Ho-Ri Prototype or the T29. I don't see how it would hurt to have a few more, especially when this is about Japan which has trouble filling out a lineup with tanks of roughly equal BR.

Generally, you can have prototypes in 3 ways.

A: Really needed to fill spots in the tree (Panther II, Tiger II 10.5cm, Chi-Ri II, etc).

B: Premiums (T29, IS-6, Black Prince, etc.).

C: Reward/event vehicles (A.33, VK 45.01 P, KV-220, etc).

Something like an O-I may be possible with some select others to fill spots in the tree where needed, but other then that, you would need to hope they come as premium or event reward vehicles.

All vehicles in Warthunder were at least partially built I believe. I don't think there are any strictly paper vehicles yet.

Some of the Japanese heavy tanks did exist, but were dismantled and most of the parts hidden somewhere. We do have a few parts and documents proving they were built and tested on, but can't seem to find the vehicles/parts themselves.

Panther 2's were never build not even one, only Parts were finished and most of them were Wooden parts to test if it could work.As much as i know the only part that was build for real Combat was one Chassis but without Engine and Gearbox, it was an Empty hull. The Panther 2 should be build but never escaped the Blueprint, the improvements the Panther 2 should have flowed into the Panther G. So we already have Tanks in the Game that are only avaible on Blueprints.

In Addition, Panther Ausf. F never reached Production too. And just for fun, the only Tank that reached Production and had an so called Schmalturm was the Tiger 2 (H).

The Maus also can be considered experimental.
There were just 2 Prototypes built and both never saw combat (one was blown up near the R&D facility, the other one captured on the facilities shooting range, when the russians came)

Likewise the Flakpanzer Coelian had just experimental status. It never actually was built ... just a wooden mockup

Also AFAK the Japanese never used the Tiger I (in WT tree available as Heavy Tank No. 6). IIRC there were parts of a single Tiger I that were delivered via submarine to Japan, but they were never used for more than testing and the japanese never employed their own Tiger I tanks in combat
