T-34-85 (D-5T), IS-1, SU-85M.
Now at 6.3 I am starting to feel comfortable. The T44 85mm can take a hit on the UFP from the Panthers and the IS2 has some Punch. However, the loooong reload is getting on my nerves. You could watch a video on youtube between the shots ....
Well I am right now grinding the 5.3 and I see clearly that 5.7 it's going to be much better. Basically you are in the best case in 5.7 matches, and worst cases 6.3, I think from 100 games maybe 4 of them have been 5.3 or lower, because the rest of nations have 1 or 2 tanks in 5.3, they can skip the 5.3 and go to 5.7, not the case in russia where you have a 5.3 in every line of the tree.
The guns are good enough anyway, but the armor even in the IS-1 it's completly ignored in 5.7, and it has a very bad shape to angle the tank, T34 line starts to become slower next to his counterparts, plus other nations tend to have a major step in 5.7 when tanks start to be post-war. The best tabk for me in the russian line at this br is the PT-76 that actually unlocks the first HEATFS that can punch through anything, but paper armor.
