That would be the pitch trim settings, but i think you have to turn instructor off for that.
I mean, currently (I'm using mouse aim) if I want to manually pitch my plane I have to constantly tap, in my case W and S, to keep it going up/down when I'm flying horizontally.
What I'm asking and I've seen that players seem to be able to shift the pitch to say 15 degree climb and leave it at that.
I have found a temporary fix to that problem and would love to see it solved and I would like to know how people do it in a more efficient way.
What I do is: I place my cursor and wait for plane to adjust to the cursor. When the plane is completely still on it's trajectory I press the "mouse activation, free look" button, C by default, and then use the pitch axis buttons. This way game thinks you're moving your mouse so it pitches up, using elevators.
This does not work if you don't press the C key.
This does not work if your plane's flight path is not completely aligned with where the mouse aims.
I think they made the game with joysticks in mind and the game is not perfectly adjusted for playing with a mouse like that. If anyone knows of a fix where we don't have to press C to adjust the pitch, let us know. I've messed around with all the axis options but couldn't figure out how.
I don't think it's doable in mouse aim, but you can set it in sim controls.
I tested it some further with mouse aim but actually I was wrong, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work. A shame we don't have an option in Mouse aim
